  • When you talk, type or show Kindly something, it is sent through our server to Anthropic (Claude) to answer, and nothing is kept afterward.
  • Family sharing is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time.
  • No ads, no tracking across apps, and we never sell your information.

What stays on your iPhone

Your name, medicines and reminder times, family contacts and emergency settings.

What the AI receives

What you say (as text), type, or a photo you choose to show (a letter, a label, a bill) is sent through our server to Anthropic to answer. We ask Anthropic not to store these requests, and they aren't used to train AI models. It may keep requests for up to 30 days to detect abuse, then deletes them. Our server keeps no copy; it keeps only daily request counts for an anonymous device ID, deleted after two days, to stop abuse and keep costs in check.

Family sharing

If you turn on Share with family, Kindly gives you a 6-digit code to share. The people you invite can see how you're doing, such as whether reminders were taken and how you said you feel. This is stored on our server only while sharing is on; removing someone or turning sharing off deletes it.

Help at home

If you ask for an in-home caregiver, the details you enter in that form are sent to the care company you choose, only when you send it.

Emergencies

Kindly is not an emergency service or a medical device. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Children

Kindly Companion isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
