Recess Kids privacy policy
By JARAMAH INC. Last updated November 4, 2026.
The short version
- Recess Kids is made for children with a parent nearby. It works on the device and sends nothing to our servers.
- Homework photos and reading out loud stay on the device; nothing is recorded or sent.
- No ads, no in-app tracking, no third-party analytics, and no links out of the app without a grown-up.
Information from children
We don't collect personal information from children. Progress, stars and settings are saved only on the device.
Homework photos
A grown-up can scan the week's homework so Recess Kids can find the words, sums and story. The pictures are read and kept on the device.
Read to Sunny
When your child reads out loud, the device turns the speech into words so Sunny can follow along. Nothing is recorded or sent.
Parents
You can delete everything by deleting the app. Questions about your child's information: write to us at the address below.
Changes and contact
We'll update this page if anything changes and show the new date above. Questions: support@openleaflabs.com.
