Recording a meeting on iPhone
Tap Record a meeting, ask everyone if it's OK, then tap Start. The first time, allow the microphone; Boopi may also ask to download Apple's speech model (free, from Apple). Recording keeps going if the screen locks. Tap Stop and write notes when you're done.
Recording a call on Mac
Click Boopi's face in the menu bar, then Record a call. Allow the microphone and "record this Mac's sound". If the call side stays empty, check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording, and make sure Boopi is on.
Headphones work best. On speakers, your microphone hears the call too. Boopi drops those repeats, but headphones keep the transcript cleanest.
Words come out wrong
Apple's speech recognition can mishear names and numbers, especially from far away or in a noisy room. Sit closer to the phone, or use headphones on a Mac.
Deleting your data
Swipe a chat or meeting in the list to delete it, or go to Settings → Delete all chats. Deleting the app removes everything. We don't keep your chats or meetings on our servers.
